Neuromodulators

What are neuromodulators?

Botox (botulinum toxin type A) is a neuromodulator. BOTOX is a brand of neurotoxin along with others available- Dysport, Xeomin. Using fine needles, it is injected into targeted muscle areas. This blocks the signal to the muscle temporarily weakening it. This reduces fine lines and wrinkles caused by muscle movement. Care is taken to tailor injections to your face to reduce movement but not eliminate it, allowing for ongoing natural expression.Ā
